Taieri Paintings
We lived on a small farm on the Taieri for a few years, and many of the paintings are of or from the farm.The ambience motif is seen in many of the paintings. "Taieri Morning" features our neighbour Trav's house; we often saw the low mist in the mornings. "Wild Poppies" shows our front paddock beside the drive. The poppies grew there uncultivated. "Cold Snap" was a view from our lounge window.
